The Things That Count

A very thoughtful friend of mine went to the trouble of sending me a link (click on the above picture) to greet me a Happy Mother's Day. While I certainly cannot claim to being everything that "CNNBC" said I was, it was fun to watch. Thank you sho!

On a related note, anyone who knows Jason knows how stingy he is. We have a standing joke that he keeps everything for "Old Jason". He keeps his money in his bank account and will only withdraw upon pain of death. I knew that he went out with my husband yesterday afternoon to buy me his Mother's Day present. I was very touched this morning when he presented me not only with a card that professed love forever, but with this.

I had mentioned a few weeks back that I was running out of perfume but never expected it from him because this is normally very expensive for his standards. The tears started flowing because he said that "this was something I wanted to do" when I chastised him for spending too much on me.

He is the greatest gift I could ever have.

  1. I'm just so proud of myself that I was able to send something "techie" to you considering...

Our children are indeed our "tanging yaman". I am pretty sure Narciso would smell extra nice every time you spray...
